Booking Terms & Conditions

We strongly suggest you read these conditions before you proceed with the booking.

Please note that it is essential to read and understand the terms and conditions of the booking with De – Lux Travels. Kindly ensure you have read and understood the itinerary and style of the trip/s you are booking to avoid any confusion.

Validity

The prices listed are based on the costs and exchange rates current at the time of pricing. De – Lux Travels reserves the right to alter these prices at any time before the confirmation and payment in case there’s any error in costing or price increase by our suppliers. All information shared with clients or suppliers is accurate to the best of our knowledge, but please note that changes to our trips (which can be significant) can and do occur. We will however make every effort to keep you informed of any changes on time.

Cancellation by client

We strongly encourage trip postponements instead of cancellation but in case there is no any other option we’ll accept cancelations. However, there will be loss of monies paid to cancelled reservations. The date of trip cancellation is the date on which a formal written cancellation is received by De – Lux Travels. The loss of monies paid is as follows, per person:

* 90 Days or more Prior to the trip – Free of charge
* Between 89 days and 60 days Prior to trip departure – Loss of 25% of the payment made.
* Between 30 and 59 days prior to trip departure – Loss of 50% of the payment made.
* Less than 30 days prior to departure – Loss of deposit 75% of the payment made.
* Less than 15 Days – Loss of 100% of total payment made

No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. Refunds will be at the discretion of De – Lux Travels if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.

Please note that these conditions apply to land De – Lux Travels services only. Different fees may apply to airline tickets. You are strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover cancellation penalties in certain circumstances (Note: such insurance will not cover a change of mind or a NO show).

Cancellation by De – Lux Travels

De – Lux Travels reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to run, but will not cancel a tour less than 60 days before departure. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has one fully-paid traveler, unless communicated otherwise. This applies to departures within the validity range. De – Lux Travels reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, at any time prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, pandemics, political instability or other external events which make it unviable for De – Lux Travels to operate our planned activities.

If De – Lux Travels cancels a group adventure trip on which you are holding a fully paid booking you may choose between rescheduling the trip or a different tour/trip or a full refund. The company is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc. If the alternative trip chosen is of a lower value than that originally booked then you are entitled to a refund of the price difference. If the alternative tour chosen is of a higher value, then you will pay the difference in price.

* Changes to any other arrangements made in conjunction with your tour booking (ex: hotels, transfers, etc.)

* No amendments are permitted to your booking within 10 days of departure

Late bookings

For bookings made within 15 days of departure, De – Lux Travels reserves the right to charge a late booking fee of USD$200 per booking. On some trips it is not possible for us to accept late bookings.

Changes to the Tour Itinerary

We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, transportation issues, or other factors beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide suitable alternative arrangements or activities, but we cannot be held liable for any missed activities or changes in the tour schedule.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance that covers things like trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Please provide us with proof of travel insurance at least X days before the tour departure date.

Liability

We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety during the tour. However, our liability is limited to the tour price paid by you. We are not liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, terrorism, civil unrest, or natural disasters. This limited liability does not apply to any third-party suppliers or contractors, such as airlines, hotels, transportation providers, or other tour operators, whose services may be included in the tour package. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of our suppliers or contractors.

Health and Fitness Requirements

Some tours may require a certain level of physical fitness or health, or may have age restrictions. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet any health and fitness requirements before booking the tour. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about the health and fitness requirements of a particular tour.

Responsibility

By booking a tour with us, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing during the tour, and that you will follow all instructions provided by our tour guides and staff. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for any damage or loss caused by you or your party during the tour.
